A Family's Quest for Silence is a short love story involving the history of the Illuminati and how it affected one American family who had roots dating back two thousand years, from a small town named, Galilee. The story quickly brings the reader into modern day times and how the goals of the Illuminati are threaten when the young is born and educated in America.

The story takes place over a span of 2000 years and starts with a secretive family meeting where the head of the family reveals his prophecy of the future and how the family is to respond to the world events. The family is the neighbors and friends of the Family of Joseph of Galilee. Joseph who was also a carpenter, as was his son, may have been a FreeMason, as were most carpenters during that period of time.

The short story gives us an inside peek, at what may, have occurred, in reference to the FreeMasons, and later the Illuminati. This is a fictional story, unless you find truth. The story clearly is not intended to offend any authority, now, or in the past, yet easily explains how "love of the heart" can put a hold on family plans, which may be 2000 years old.

Risk crafts an exotic adventure filled with supernatural happenings, greed, betrayal, and love with "Osiris' Missing Part." Based on an ancient Egyptian legend, the god Seth tricks Osiris into a box and kills him, cutting his body into fourteen parts and spreading them all over Egypt. Will the goddess Isis be successful in resurrecting the only man she truly loves?

The story opens with Isis bringing Osiris back to life, only she's missing the piece where his godly power is stored - his manhood. Osiris is grateful for Isis' efforts, but knows he has to go on a quest to seek out his manhood. Isis agrees to go with him after learning the conditions set upon them by Seth to reattach Osiris' manhood. The condition is insulting to her however - a virgin must reattach Osiris' part with her personal sap.

Risk's writing is a wonderful "what-if" of the legend. She blends just the right amount of reality and myth offering the reader a unique and creative story. Her descriptions are "spot on," allowing the reader to visualize ancient Egypt with ease.

The most rewarding aspect of the story was the characterization of Isis and Osiris. While gods and capable of supernatural achievements, both have very human hearts. Osiris was a bit of a womanizer in his first life, but Isis' devotion shows him he can love just one woman. Isis has a tendency not to see "the grey/middle ground" in people and situations and Osiris demonstrates to her that its all right to give your trust to others who have earned it.

The novel is sophisticated for romance readers with love scenes that are graphic, sensual, and tasteful. Risk's imagination shines against the lush backdrop of ancient Egypt. "Osiris' Missing Part" is a wonderful escape to another time and place that proves love does conquer all.

I Too Had A Love Story is the debut novel of the young Indian author Ravinder Singh or Ravin as he is fondly called. This novel is all about falling in love with nothing but honesty in your heart, and that is something that is rarely present these days.

Since its launch, this book has gone on to win many laurels. The main reason for the success of this book, according to me, is the pure honesty with which it is written and that is what connects it to its readers. It is a tale of true and painful love which is something we all have experienced in our life sometime or the other. It is because of this reason only that this book has become a national bestseller and very popular among the youth.

Ravin captures the beauty of romance in an exquisite manner in I Too Had A Love Story. The emotions that come out through words make you relive those moments when you shared your first kiss. I could literally feel the emotions in my own heart while going through this amazing book and was actually moved to tears by the end of it.

The book, I Too Had A Love Story, tells the tale of four friends who meet up after a long time and share stories from yester-years. After their reunion, everyone goes back to their old life except for Ravin, who befriends a girl on a matrimonial site thanks to his discussion with his friends. When a circus came to our suburb, it reminded me of a book I'd read the year before. Being set in a circus is a fairly unique setting for a romance novel, so it had stuck in my head. I'd borrowed heaps of books from the library the previous year and try as I might, I could not bring to mind the name of the author or the name of the book. So in the books section in Amazon, I typed in the search words 'circus Alex icon Russian' and to my delight, Kiss an Angel came up in the results. I didn't think I really needed to read the book again, but something about it kept bugging me, so I borrowed it a second time, and regardless of a few issues I had with the story and some of the characters, it still had enough of something to get me in sufficiently to read it all again.

Daisy hasn't had an easy life. She's the illegitimate daughter of an exhibitionist, promiscuous socialite mother, whom she's accompanied around Europe, acquiring a hit and miss unusual education in the process and trying to stay unnoticed in the background. When her mother dies, Daisy finds herself with a heap of debts and no formal training or skills to support herself.

Her father, a Romanov historian, offers to help her out financially, but's there's a catch. She must marry Alex Markov and live with him for six months, or the deal offering his monetary assistance will be withdrawn.

With no other options in view, Daisy reluctantly lets herself be dragged through the proceedings.

The only reason Alex has allowed himself to be involved in Daisy's father's plan, is because he's hugely indebted to him from an event many years earlier. Otherwise, there is no way or no one else who could have coerced Alex into marriage full stop.

So a marriage begins between two unwilling strangers who can appreciate each other's physical attributes but otherwise have absolutely nothing in common.

Alex is determined to be out of the arrangement at the end of the six months, or preferably much earlier than that, if he can make the living conditions so abhorrent to the pampered, indulged, self-absorbed Daisy that she'll leave him. Alex manages and performs in a travelling family circus. Daisy is scared of even small dogs, so encounters many personal challenges when she's required to assist with the care of the circus animals.

Alex expects Daisy to balk at any hard work but she surprises him by flourishing in her new surroundings. It's the first time she's taking responsibility for living for herself without trailing in her mother's shadow and she's learning to love having a sense of personal achievement and job satisfaction.

Daisy's presence in the circus community sparks some jealousy from Alex's former lover as well as from a teenager with a serious crush on Alex, and they both set out to hurt Daisy and her developing relationship with Alex.

Alex expresses to Daisy that he'll never love her and he never wants children. Therefore, things get interesting as the circus travels around its performance circuit.

Daisy's character is endearing as she truly has a heart of gold. It just takes a long time for anyone to realize that. She's always been very pure and over the course of the book, she discovers she has strengths. At the start of the book, she is terrified of animals, but towards the end, she's got the whole menagerie of the circus eating out of her hand.

Alex's inability to see Daisy's true qualities is frustrating at times. He has so many secrets and issues from his past, combined with his attitude towards his forced marriage situation that he often appears to be an uncaring, unfeeling, brooding, volatile, heartless, cold block of ice. It takes time for his exposure to Daisy to thaw him. Initially, Alex is definitely not the most romantic hero, but his transformation does happen and the reader sees more and more glimpses of it as it develops.

Kiss an Angel brings together some unusual elements in a romance novel. There's a contemporary arranged marriage, a telepathic animal and a circus, but when a story stays with you for a long time after you finish the book, one can say that the story has worked well.

Coffeen takes the reader on a great adventure with Colin and Madeline. Just when you think something will happen one way, there's a twist that takes the reader down a different path.

Colin and Madeline draw the reader into their world with their rich personalities. Colin is wounded, yet embodies nobility, integrity, and honor. Madeline is spunky and full of determination. The little things Coffeen inserts really helps to round out the supporting cast and gives the story an authentic feel - from the gossip, to turbans, to Madeline's disturbing dreams.

The love scenes are intense and highly charged, capturing the explosive attraction between Colin and Madeline. "Priceless Deception" will take you on a suspenseful journey and leave you believing that you can find love in just a look.
