Byrnes crafts an edge of your seat romantic thriller with "Purple Knot." A contemporary inspirational, Reyna Cruz is a private investigator who has left Seattle to establish a life in California. When her childhood friend, Summer Evans, dies from injuries received in an assault, Reyna puts herself on the case, but solving it will take all her wits and faith in God.

Reyna is working when she receives a phone call from her former fianc?, Jimmy Carbeau, Summer's twin brother. Jimmy is frantic. Summer has been assaulted and she's eight months pregnant. Reyna rushes from San Francisco to Seattle. When she arrives at the hospital, she discovers Summer has left her a medical power of attorney. Making the best decision she can with the doctor's advice and assessment, Reyna elects to save the baby and Summer dies.

Despite the pain from Summer's loss, Reyna reconnects with Jimmy, who is just as passionate about finding Summer's killer. Jimmy, however, doesn't necessarily approve of Reyna's methods, but he can't deny his heart. He loves Reyna and he's willing to give their love another chance.

The case heats up when Reyna is attacked in her office and her house is ransacked. The danger doesn't deter her. When a drug angle is introduced as a motive, Reyna is appalled. Summer did not do drugs.

Reyna calls in all her favors to get answers, but will those answers destroy the rekindled love she's found with Jimmy?

Byrnes infuses the story with just the right mix of suspense and romance. The story is told in the first person from Reyna's perspective and Byrnes does a fine job giving Reyna her own unique and distinctive voice. The descriptions are balanced and nuanced, never lingering, yet painting vivid pictures of the setting.

I enjoyed how Byrnes handled the inspirational message of the story, making it feel like a natural, organic element and not forcing the religious overtones.

Reyna and Jimmy are compelling characters. Both have to overcome the pain of loss, but each do it in their own way. What allows Reyna to really grow as a character is a scene in which she reaches for Jimmy's hand and asks him to pray. It's a very somber, yet poignant moment for them and defines them as a couple.

The story is sweet for romance readers with Reyna and Jimmy sharing a kiss or two. "Purple Knot" draws the reader in effortlessly and doesn't let go until the last page.

The Ex Back System is a superb product in itself. Nevertheless, now they've come out with a platinum upgrade. If you happen to be enthusiastic about getting the system, which version should you get? Is the basic system adequate, or do you need the platinum upgrade?

First, we need to have a look at what you get with the upgrade. The upgrade provides you access to a private, members only area. In it, you'll discover 34 videos that cover a wide range of topics related to the totally different phases in the principle book. The videos are in a presentation format; that is, you undergo a slide show of the different details while listening to a feminine voice talk you through it.

You additionally get an audio model of the videos. This is helpful if you happen to prefer to listen to the data away from the computer.

Additionally, you get a PDF transcript of every video. For a few of the topics, you may discover that the PDF is actually a book. For instance, emotion management is a guide with over a hundred and twenty pages. This can be a pleasant surprise should you need extra help with that subject.

So for those who get the upgrade, you do get an excellent deal extra information, in a wide range of formats. Because it's in a membership area, you additionally may obtain extra subjects added at any time.

Subsequent, let us take a look at the content material covered within the ex back system upgrade.

Probably the most beneficial for many individuals would be the scenario specific videos. These videos cover precisely what to do in a variety of situations, reminiscent of if you and your ex are still residing together. You may also discover ways to keep your ex from signing the divorce papers, tips on how to deal with children in a breakup, and even easy methods to get your things back from your ex if you end up not getting back together. If that is even a possibility for you, the final tactic will save you a lot of money in case your ex still has most of your stuff.

Nonetheless, there's a ton of information beyond the scenario specific. Most of this goes more in depth into the system specified by the e-book, so it's helpful in case you need more clarification on any point. For example, you learn exactly how to tell if your ex is still into you, in addition to strategies in the right way to prepare your mind. Some of them seem slightly unusual on the surface, such as hypnosis, however once you have a look at the material, you discover that Brian's not talking about waving a pocket watch in front of someone's face. It's more about subliminal methods to remind your ex of what you used to have together. He really knows what he is talking about when it comes to relationship break up advice.

Overall, the ex back system platinum upgrade really provides loads to the entire system. If you want the most effective and most complete information, I would advocate it. However, the main course will probably be enough for you to win your ex back. The upgrade simply makes things a little bit easier.

This is a product that I used and had great results. The Ex Back System is most complete system to get your ex back.

Chantel fashions a story full of adventure, heartbreak, hope, and love with "Redemption for the Devil." Set in the early 1920's, Peg Kincade's whole life is turned upside down when her father is presumed dead. Wanting to forge a new life for herself, Peg sets out for America, but will an Irish devil, Liam Cormac, ruin any chance she has of starting a new life?

The story opens with Liam, a soldier in the Irish Republican Army. He's given a task to blow up a cruise ship, The Mauretania. Liam agrees and takes along an accomplice, Devlin. Liam's heart has been hardened due to losing friends in the war.

Peg Kincade is told her father is presumed dead after he took an adventure to the Arctic. Peg's insufferable cousin, Archibald, comes to run her father's business. Miserable, Peg resolves to make her way to America so she can start fresh. She finds herself on the Mauretania where she first works as a cabin maid.

Pegs meets Liam and discovers he's a hard man, yet, despite how gruff he is to her, he comes to her rescue time and again. When Peg is hired as a lounge singer in first class, she grows closer to Liam.

Liam can't deny the attraction he feels for Peg. Devlin pushes him to complete the mission - blow up the ship - but Liam waivers. Peg has chipped holes into his hardened heart, which is now warming. Liam begins to believe he can find true happiness with Peg. Unfortunately, the road to redemption and love is fraught with danger and Liam will have to work to earn Peg's respect and trust before she gives him her heart.

Chantel's novel shines against the vintage backdrop of the 1920's. The story's setting starting at Cork, Ireland then journeying to the Mauretania, and finally ending in Chicago sets a rich authentic tone for the novel. Adding to the authenticity is the believability of the character's dialect, which Chantel does well. She pulls off a difficult challenge and makes it shine as an organic element of the story. For me, this authenticity was the most enjoyable aspect of the novel. I felt like I was right there in Peg's cabin on the boat.

Peg and Liam tug on the reader's heartstrings as they embark on an adventure filled with excitement and love. Liam is strong and decent, but going down a road that offers no hope until he meets Peg, and love pricks his soul. Peg's belief in him gives him the will to change his destiny. Peg has a strong moral backbone, but needs to learn that people and situations aren't always black and white and there is a grey middle ground most fall into. Liam dares her to explore this concept.

The novel is sophisticated for romance readers with love scenes that are sensual and tasteful. "Redemption for the Devil" will allow the reader to experience a gambit of emotions, and will resonate with them long after the last page.

The twilight saga - a romantic fantasy

I was always a sucker for romance. There was a time when mills & boon, silhouette, romances were literally my bread and butter. But I soon became of them and moved to action-packed adventure, spy thriller, sci fi thriller, and never looked back until now.

I stumbled across the twilight series when I was like looking a fantasy series such as Harry Potter by J. k. Rowling. HP spoils me literally for all the other books for quite some time because I couldn't find this kind of fantasy and magic elsewhere. Suddenly, murder mysteries & thriller saw very dull. What would not I for another fantasy series with same brilliance have given!

Although the common bond is fantasy in two works, the series be treated quite differently by j.k. Rowling and Stephanie Meyer. While a kind of book is actually more grew up the HP series, is where you can feel, as the characters grow and tires really every year, Twilight has characters that literally interwoven fixed more Romance in time and the genre with fantasy.

Stephanie Meyer narrative has none of the simplicity and brilliance of j.k. Rowling (maybe something to do with the fact that it is English!)It is a bit complicated and draw in places where it might have been shorter. Still, your words create a vivid picture in your head. They will be and if she swoons at the sight of Edward Cullen, Bella Swan powerlessness you right along with her. Are there exceptional brilliance in some of their chapter, while the same splendour is missing some small parts in any case.

The characters in the books are just too sweet; Bella Swan, the strangely intuitive but clumsy and simple girls head over heels for a vampire falls; Edward Cullen, the beautiful vampire, Bella to love and you want blood, and one of my most popular characters, of course irresistibly can help, and for many people I'm sure the rostbraunem coloured werewolf Jacob Black,. He endears himself to his readers by just be itself - warm, Cheeky, roaring, until the end, and not to mention loyalty and loving, that the unfortunate human father of Bella, Charlie Swan, caught between this fantasy and still keep his Fort with only his love and concern for Bella.

Edward Cullen is literally too good to be true. His love for Bella that feels almost like devotion to a goddess, is straight out of a fairy tale (something that think Bella even now and again) he gives what she wants her and her Jacob would have if that's what she wanted (and Stephanie Meyer had to do the heart it of course). At the end, get most hybrid the loose ends with Jacob 'Style' on Bella and Edward daughter Renesmee convenient, solve the triangular love tangle easily tied.

If I loose that ends most said, I meant that as some characters are intentional, still half reconciled, and you get the feeling that's more is to come. Maintain as, for example, what happens to Leah Clearwater, were Wolverine, who decides to join Jacob's Pack and seems to a soft corner for him? And there is Nahuel, a further half-human and half vampire, which may be a competition for Jacob later for Renesmee's hand. There is also an invitation from Zafrina, the Amazon vampire, who insists that Bella eventually visit their rainforest together with Renesmee. While these are trivial, there are the constant threat of 'the Volturi', which never 'vegetarian' would take the implied defeat at the hands of the vampires Carlisle family. You come back and take one after the other on the forks vampires? Jacob and Renesmee do this time really for? She would probably result in the rain forests of the Amazon? What happens then with Edward and Bella?

Just maybe Stephanie itself has these questions in her mind and would come with a new book, ' the new dawn' or whatever, if no fifth sequel to the twilight series. Just maybe!

Paradise by Judith McNaught - A Review

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Paradise is an emotional roller coaster that left me both exhilarated and exhausted by the end of the 709 page book. It's one of those books where you can't wait to get to the end to see how it all gets resolved, yet at the same time, you don't ever want the experience of reading the story to come to an end.

It begins with the story of Meredith Bancroft's childhood. Her father banished his wife from their lives when Meredith was a baby, because he believed she'd been promiscuous. In an effort to ensure Meredith didn't have a chance of being like her mother, Phillip Bancroft exerts unfair restrictions and control over Meredith's childhood, effectively robbing her of it. So instead of a normal childhood, Meredith grows up in a world of privilege, yet terrible loneliness. She acts as her father's business hostess and absorbs and loves everything about the Bancroft department store, which is her family heritage.

Matthew Farrell comes from a life of early responsibility and hard work. He's a steel mill worker with big dreams, ambition and drive.

On the night they first meet, Meredith rescues Matt in a social situation. He doesn't particularly care about being ostracised by some snobs, but Meredith goes out of her way to ensure he's include and she captivates him. When her father over reacts to her being in Matt's company, she decides, in her anger, that she might as well act in a manner commensurate with the way her father treats her. When Matt does the honourable thing by then marrying Meredith, her father is livid and stops at nothing to drive them apart.

The story resumes 11 years later, when Matt and Meredith are both successful and wealthy, each still believing the lies that had led to them hating each other.

As Meredith and Parker, her childhood crush, are planning for their wedding, they discover that Meredith and Matt's divorce isn't legal.

Forced together to resolve the situation, Matt and Meredith piece together what went wrong during their brief marriage and along the way, their attraction to each other is rekindled, helped along by their admiration for each other as successful business people. Matt recognises that he's never completely gotten over Meredith and proposes an outrageous situation in his determined effort to keep her as his wife.

It is a far from smooth journey and the incidents and interactions keep the reader totally unable to predict from which angle the next hurdles and solutions will appear. The reader is treated to some thoroughly enjoyable dialogue exchanges throughout the book.

Something that would have been nice to have had included in the book is the reunion between Meredith and her mother.

Another thing I'd have changed is that I wouldn't have had Meredith forgiving her father so easily, or sacrificing her wishes in order to help save her father, after all the reprehensible things he'd done to ruin her and Matt's relationship. I could have strangled Meredith's father at many points during the book.

Paradise is humorous, sad, clever and poignant all at the same time. A really touching, memorable piece of fiction.

Erotic books are a great way to get yourself excited sexually. If you are looking for ways to put some spark in your relationship, these books might be quite handy. Also, if you feel that your life is lacking that physical intimacy you desire, you can immerse yourself in the story, real or fictional, and become a part of it. Many times, these books can even act as a savior when the chemistry between you and your partner is fading.

Erotic books are widely available. These books are popular with both men and women. Romance blended with eroticism is a highly sought after theme. Here the main purpose is not only to relate sexual encounters but also to depict them artistically. In fact, this is what distinguishes pornographic magazines from erotic materials. In erotic fiction or non- fiction, sex is shown as something beautiful, something desirable and something right.

Erotic books, like any other fictitious books can take up many themes. Some of the books may try to dig into one's psychology and show the depth of one's perception of physical intimacy. Others might show desperation and still others might show it as a social taboo in a given situation. You can even find adventurous erotic books that take you through the sexual relationship between a human and a supernatural being. Thus, no matter what your choice, if you are looking for an erotic fiction or non-fiction book, you can find it.

However, there are erotic books that might actually turn you off by portraying sex in a way that might be hard to digest. For instance, some books show domestic violence, rape, obsession with sex, and so on that might not be to your liking. Therefore, before choosing any book, make sure you read the comments of previous readers. This also allows you to understand beforehand what to expect from a book. In order to not end up with a low quality book, you can pick only books written by well- known authors. You can also do a little research online to find the most popular erotic books.

If you are finding it hard to locate a good author, some good authors and their books are Alexander Pushkin (Gabriliad), Barry N. Malzberg (Screen), D. H. Lawrence (Lady Chatterley's Lover, Kenzaburo Oe, Seventeen, J, and A Personal Matter), Marco Vassi (The Erotic Comedies, Devil's Sperm Is Cold, and The Stoned Apocalypse) and so on. However, understand that there literally are hundreds of authors and thousands of erotic books available and you need to do some research if you want to find a book that fits exactly what you want from a book. You can choose erotic magazines or other published books if you are looking for a reality based book, while you can choose novels if you want only imaginative content in your reading.

Every relationship needs to be cultivated and tended to so that it flourishes. The same is true with romantic relationships. If you do not spend the time and energy needed to maintain a healthy sexual relationship, the relationship could end. Erotic books can help tremendously with your sexual relationship. Not only will sexy books help to keep things interesting but can offer some valuable ideas and information that can last for many years to come. Try erotic books right away and get working on your relationship!
